Albert Rollo “Tige” Potter, 73, of Dell Street in Charlestown, died at his home on Monday, June 2, 2008.

He was born in Acworth, NH on November 7, 1934 the son of Thomas and Dorothy (Philbrick) Potter and had resided in Charlestown since the 60’s.

Mr. Potter worked in the shipping department of Fellows Gear Shaper in Springfield, VT and later as a grounds keeper at the Biblical Foundation in Charlestown.

He was the widower of Mary Cecile (Brooks) Potter who died September 24, 1992.

The surviving family includes his step-daughter, Debra Piletz and her husband Walter of Charlestown; three grandchildren, Jessica Hagland and Meredith McAllister both of Charlestown and Damon Piletz of Bergen, NY; ten great-grandchildren; one brother William “Bill” Potter of Concord and six nephews.  He was pre-deceased by one sister, Mary Allen.

There will be a memorial service at a later date with interment in St Catherine’s Cemetery.
