On the afternoon of Tuesday, February 26th, as the snow fell, our beloved
Gail left this world and moved on to a much better place.  Our Angel has her
wings!  Gail was born February 28, 1941, in Newport, NH, the daughter of
Alfreda Couitt and the late Zeke Beyor and lived currently in Charlestown,
NH.  She was the firstborn of ten children for Alfreda and very proud of her
Native American heritage.  In addition to being a loyal, loving daughter and
sister, Gail was a proud mother and grandmother.  Her accomplishments in
life were many but she was most grateful for her family.  Her family will
remember her for the love, strength and joy she brought to each and every
one of us.  Friends will remember her for her support, her huge heart and
her guidance. She was blessed with an amazing singing voice and she
performed for many years in this area singing with her band "Gail and The
Country Gentlemen".  In the late 70's she was named the Top Female Vocalist
in the Eastern States.  With her beautiful voice, she raised money for many
local people in need by organizing and performing at numerous benefit shows
throughout the area.  Gail lived life to the fullest and enriched the lives
of everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.  She touched so many
people and their lives would not be the same without her for having been a
part of them.

Her loving children include her son, Maurice Fazekas of Claremont and her
two daughters, Debra Harlen of Claremont and Annmarie Serem of Simpsonville,
SC; three grandchildren; Tyler Patten of Simpsonville, SC and Cassandra and
David Brooks of Claremont.  In addition, her mother, Alfreda Couitt, three
brothers, Robert Couitt, Richard Couitt and Philip Couitt all of Claremont;
four sisters; Brenda Beebe of Springfield, VT, Debra Couitt and Cathy
Paradis of Claremont and Bonnie Gales of Lempster survive her.  She will
also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially her cousin and dear friend, Sandra Gerrow of Highgate Springs, VT and her dear friend Maryann Purple of Charlestown.  Her furry friends that she loved so dearly, Sweetpea, Ginger, PJ, and Precious also survived Gail.  In addition to her father Zeke, Gail was pre-deceased by an infant son, Scottie and two brothers, Jack Beyor and Edward Couitt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at two o'clock  in the
Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont, NH with Deacon Paul
Boucher, of St Mary's Church, officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 PM prior to the service.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
