Joe David Pop Parrish, 55, of the Union Block, 1 Pleasant Street in
Claremont, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 at his apartment.

He was born in Shelbyville, IN on March 3, 1952 the son of Eugene Bernard
and Betty Lou (Paxton) Parrish and had resided in Claremont and Charlestown
for the past fifteen years.

He worked as a lumber mill worker and pre-staining lumber worker and retired
due to disability on January 11, 2000.

The surviving family includes two daughters, Christina Parrish and her
husband, Matthew LaClair of Claremont and Felicia Parrish of Mass.; a
grandson, Mackenzie Parrish and a granddaughter, Alexis LaClair both of
Claremont; three brothers, Tom Boudreau and his wife Sue and two nephews
Eric LaBombard and Tommy Boudreau all of Mass.; also, Eugene Parrish of
Michigan, Ralph Boudreau of Florida; three sisters, Donna Parrish and Irene
Boudreau both of Florida and Caroline Boudreau of Colorado.   He was
pre-deceased by his parents.

Funeral services  will be held Friday evening at Seven O'clock in the
Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, with Rev. Dr. Winn
Alley, Pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 7 PM prior
to the services.
