Marion Louise Gault, 87, of Whitewater Brook Road in Cornish, died Friday afternoon, April 18, 2008 at her home in Cornish.  She was born in White River Junction, VT on October 14, 1920 the daughter of Horace Henry and Arlene Edith (Kent) Punt.  She lived in Cornish for the past four years and had resided in White River Junction, VT most of her life.  Mrs. Gault retired from Dorr Woolen Mill in 1985 where she worked as a weaver.

She was the widow of Harold L. Gault who died March 26, 2007.

The surviving family includes six children, Marjorie Fletcher of Cornish, Constance Pribe of Las Vegas, NV, Katherine Snide of Keene, Ernest Gault of Satellite, FL, Jeanne Johnston of Lodi, CA and Deborah Ashton of Enfield; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Donley of White River Jct., VT and Elizabeth Keifer of Wilder, VT and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by four sisters, Rosie Williams, Bernice Pratt, Myrtle Horton and Alice Horton and one brother, Horace Punt.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the United Church of Cornish with Rev. Dale Louise Nicholas, Pastor officiating with interment to follow in Quechee Cemetery in Quechee, VT.
