Mary Margaret Blish, 74, of Shannon Street in Claremont, died Saturday evening, June 28, 2008 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.  She was born in Holyoke, MA on June 12, 1934 the daughter of Gerald F. and Mary M. (McMahon) Bynan and had resided in Pittsfield, MA from 1964 to 1977 and in the Claremont area for nearly 30 years.

The surviving family includes her husband, Harry A. Blish, Jr. of Claremont whom she married on March 14, 1965; eight children; James Finn and his partner Nancy of Westfield, MA, Mary Finn Antonangeli and her husband Fred of Pittsfield, MA, Patricia Finn and her partner Jim of Boulder City, NV, Barbara Finn Martin and her husband Edward of Pittsfield, MA, Annie Finn-Waddell of Concord, NH, Kathleen Blish Bunnell and her husband Dale of Claremont, Kristine Blish Wyatt and her husband Mark of Nashua and William Blish and his wife, Suzanne of Grantham; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerald F. Bynan, Jr. of Holyoke, MA.

She was pre-deceased by one son, Thomas Finn who died March 9, 1974.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Ten O’clock at the Sacred Heart Church, Elm St. in Pittsfield, MA and interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pittsfield, MA.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12^th at Eleven O’clock in St Joseph Church in Claremont.
