Nora Cecelia Kline Pope, 57, of Charlestown, NH, died peacefully on Thursday evening, August 14, 2008 in her home after a difficult battle with cancer.

She was born in Hollywood Hills, CA on May 28, 1951 the daughter of entrepreneur Frederick Kline, Sr. and the actress and Broadway performer Mary Roche.  Nora had resided in Charlestown since 1981.

She received a business degree from Marymount College.  Nora worked at McGraw-Hill in New York City where she was a magazine editor for thirteen years.  She always held a special place in her heart for all animals and enjoyed the beauty of New Hampshire living.

The surviving family includes her husband, Russell H. Pope, Jr. of Charlestown whom she married on May 27, 1983; a brother, Frederick Kline, Jr. and a sister, Kathleen Bowers both of whom live in California.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning, August 19th at Ten O’clock in St Catherine of Sienna Church in Charlestown with Rev. Father Michael E. Gendron, Pastor officiating.
