Richard A. Davis, Sr., 60, of Peaceful Harvest Home in Charlestown, died Wednesday morning, July 2, 2008 at the Springfield Hospital.

He was born in Claremont, NH on March 7, 1948 the son of Edwin F. and Mary L. (Nelson) Davis and had resided in Claremont most of his life.

He graduated from Stevens High School and was disabled for most of his life.

The surviving family includes four sons;  three brothers, Elliot Davis, Kenny Davis and Arthur Davis; one sister, Beverly Howard, a sister-in-law, Claire Dole of Claremont and several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by one brother, Edwin R. Davis and one sister, Yvonne Ferland.

Graveside committal services will be held Saturday morning, July 5^th at 11:15  in St Mary’s Cemetery with Deacon Paul Boucher, officiating.
