Richard Sandys Fairhall, 76, of  2^nd NH Turnpike in Unity, NH, died Friday morning, September 5, 2008 at the Sullivan County Health Care.

He was born in Maryland on December 12, 1931 the son of Lawrence and Florence W. Fairhall.  He lived in Bridgeport, CT for over thirty years, and had resided in Claremont for the past four years.  Richard was an electrical engineer for (AVCO) Textron Lycoming Co. in Stratford, CT for thirty years.

He is survived by a special friend, Janet Marie Clark of Unity and cousins, including, Dr. & Mrs. Gerald Smith of Cheyenne, WY.

There will be no visiting hours.

A graveside committal service will be held Friday, September 12^th at One O’clock in the Unity Center Cemetery in Unity.
