Rickey Bemis Sr., 50, of Claremont NH died on March 31, 2008. He was born
December 23, 1957 at Claremont Hospital. The son of Vivien Colby (LaBounty)
recently deceased and father Clifford Bemis. Rickey has a stepfather Roger
Colby. Rickey has always been a family oriented, fun loving father,
grandfather, brother, and son. Rickey served in the National Guards out of
Springfield, Vermont. Rick has always loved all his children and always
will, they are his life. Rick was a great carpenter, roofer, auto mechanic,
and was always articulate with everything. He always made the best of every
situation, no matter what it may be. Rick is a man who had plenty of life,
he could share some with everyone and still have enough! Rickey fought lung
cancer for a long time and was surrounded by all of his family to help him
through. Rickey will always be remembered by his Laughter, sense of humor,
and many traits and talents. There will never be enough to say, or enough
words in the world to use to describe what a man Rickey was and meant to
everyone.
Rickey is survived by seven children, Desiray, Rickey JR, Chelsea, Amanda,
Alicia Lynn, Sabrina, and Jeremy. Four grandchildren and one on the way who
all he gave the world to Brandon, Brianna, and Tameka. Previously deceased
by his grandson Isaac Keagan. Rick has three brothers, Toby, Roger, and
Donny. Two sisters, twin sister Penny, and sister Debbie. Two sister in-laws
Katie and Marilyn, and a brother in-laws Lenny and Rickey. He is survived
by many nieces and nephews Jeffry, Mark, Sean, Scott, Roger, Zack, Lenny,
Donny, Nick, Alex, Jr, Tabitha, Tracia, Honi, Shugah, Khandee, Tonya, Jenny,
Leah, Donna and Raylynn. Rick has many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will never be another man like my father. He has always been my
miracle. We will be holding a ceremony at a later date. The date will be
posted in the paper.
