Robert Bruce Pardy, 55, of Lempster, NH was found dead at his home on Monday, June 2, 2008.

He was born on August 22, 1952 in Claremont, NH, the son of the late Ralph E. Pardy, Jr. and Marjorie M. Stillson.

He graduated from Windsor High School in the class of 1970 and attended a year and a half of college, after which he served with the US Army from 1972-1975.

Bob was a kind, loving man who would go out of his way to help someone in need. He was a devoted father. He was always up for a good laugh. He was a hard worker, who enjoyed cooking, going for rides, nature walks, splitting wood and spending time with family and friends. He also had a passion for hunting. Bob was a member of the Windsor Coon Club, as well as the American Legion in Windsor, VT.

Surviving family includes his mother, Marjorie M. Stillson of Windsor, VT; three sisters, Donna Porter of Knoxville, TN, Janet Peterson of Albuquerque, NM and Karen Foster of Knoxville, TN; one brother, Robert Foster, Jr.; four daughters, Tonya Baird of NC and her daughters, Zenia, Kimberly and Jersey, Kyley Gobin of Lempster and her sons, Caleb, Jacob and Wyatt; Sarah Pardy and her boyfriend, Tony Amoroso of Claremont and their daughters, Abygayle, Autumn and April; Shannon Amoroso and her husband Phillip of Windsor, VT and their daughters, Isabell, Molly and Meadow; one son, Logan Pardy of Springfield, VT; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and friends.

At the time of his death, Bob also lost his youngest son, Cody. He was pre-deceased by his father, his paternal grandparents, Ralph E. Pardy, Sr. and Goldena (Wells) Pardy and his maternal grandparents, John W. Stillson and Grace (Matice) Stillson.

Friends may call at the Ascutney Union Church on Rte. 5 in Ascutney, VT on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9th at One O’clock in the Ascutney Union Church with Rev. Connie Moser, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Ascutneyville Cemetery in Ascutney, VT.
