Shirley Ann Beauchain, 56, of Main Street in Charlestown, died Wednesday
afternoon, January 30, 2008 at the Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont.

She was born in Springfield, VT on March 16, 1951 the daughter of Rodney W.
and Doris (Goodrich) Strong.

Shirley was a graduate of Black River High School in Ludlow, VT.

She enjoyed her neighborhood squirrels and birds often feeding them peanuts
from her back door.  She loved friends and family gatherings and she brought
much love, life and most of all fun to everyone's life she touched.  A
special thanks from all of her family to Patty Wright for the excellent care
and love she gave to Shirley.

The surviving family includes her longtime companion, John Thorburn of
Charlestown; her parents of Springfield, VT; a son, Eric Beauchain and a
daughter, Danielle Ettin; two grandchildren, Ashley and Dakota Ettin all of
California; four brothers, Randy, Rick, Scott and Tim Strong also nieces,
nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by a sister, Dolores S. Lombard.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday morning, February 4th at Eleven
O'clock at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown
with Rev. Malcolm Grobe, Pastor of the Charlestown Congregational Church,
officiating.

Friends may call at the Chapel on Monday morning from ten to eleven o'clock
prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Visiting
Nurses Association, P.O. Box 343, Charlestown, NH 03603 or to Emphysema
Foundation or the charity of ones choice.
