Timothy James Kennett, 39, formerly of Charlestown, died March 19, 2008 at
the University Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. He was born in Bellows
Falls, VT on April 16, 1968 the son of James R. and Nancy V. (Kelly) Kennett
and had resided in Maurice, LA for the past seven years.
Timothy was a graduate of Fall Mountain Regional High School in the Class of
1986. He served in the US Army and with the Army National Guard in the
Persian Gulf War. He worked as a laborer in construction.
He loved his family, friends, country music and his dogs. Also enjoyed
woodworking, hunting, fishing, cooking, the outdoors and camping.
The surviving family includes besides his parents of Charlestown; two sons,
Anthony J. Kennett and Terry W. Kennett both of West Port, NY; his fiancée,
Maria Desser of Maurice, LA; one sister, Laura Benjamin and her husband,
Joseph of Charlestown; one brother, Joseph Kennett and his wife, Dawn of
Charlestown; two nieces, Angel & Michelle Benjamin and aunts, uncles and
cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday March 28th at five O’clock in the
Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown with Rev. Malcolm
Grobe, Pastor of the Charlestown Congregational Church, officiating.
Interment will be later in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Chapel on Friday afternoon from 4 to 5 PM prior to
the services.
The family suggests that donations may be made in his memory to a Humane
Society or the SPCA of ones choice.
