Virgie Spasink, 96, a former long time resident of Forest Street and Maple Street in Claremont, died Sunday evening, August 3, 2008 at the Haven Health Center of Claremont.

She was a native and life long resident of Claremont, NH, born on January 6, 1912 the daughter of John and Anna (Zluchick) Kuzmich.

Virgie worked at Joy Manufacturing Company for many years.

She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church and a member of the Sisterhood of the Church.

She was the widow of George Spasink who died June 2, 1973.

The surviving family includes one nephew, Michael Gaydo of Berlin and a niece, Nancy Piper.

She was predeceased by a brother, John Kuzmich and three sisters, Helen Kuzmich, Nellie K. Gaydo and Sonya Kuzmich.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7th at Ten-Thirty O’clock in the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church with Rev.  Andrew Tregubov, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt View Cemetery.
