Aime Napoleon Cote, 92, of Wyman Road in Deering, NH died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Concord Hospital. He was born in Manchester, NH on December 14, 1916 the son of Wilfred and Mary (Nedeau) Cote. He lived in Deering since 2002 and previously in Unity for two years and in Claremont and Newport most of his life. Mr. Cote worked as a welder for 18 years at Joy Manufacturing Co., and also had worked at Dubois Auto Service on the wrecker and had previously worked in the area shoe shops. He was the widower of Florine Eva (Gendron) Cote whom he married on May 12, 1939 and she died September 10, 2006. The surviving family includes one daughter, Claire R. Nelson; one grand-daughter, Rhonda L. Hibbard; two great-grandsons, James Totte and Joshua Hibbard all of Hillsboro; one sister, Theresa Lepicier of Manchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Albert Cote and Wilfred Cote; four sisters, Blanche Hager, Beatrice Gannon, Rita Wolfgram and Stella George. Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Eleven O’clock in St Mary’s Church with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in St Mary’s Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of ones choice. |
