Allena Carol Martin, 54 of Campbrook Road in Alstead, NH died Monday, August 17^th at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 14, 1955 in Springfield, VT, the daughter of Allen W. and Carol (Blair) Bashaw.  She graduated from Fall Mtn Regional High School the class of 1973 and has been employed with Audio Accessories in Marlow, NH in the shipping and receiving department.

Allena married the love of her life, Roger Martin in November 18, 1972 and raised two girls together.  She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her four grandchildren.

The family includes her husband, Roger Martin of Alstead, NH; her mother, Carol Bashaw of Charlestown; two daughters, Jenny M. LaClair and her husband, Mike Jr. of Keene, NH and Alisha K. Hayes and her husband, Scott of Spofford, NH; three granddaughters, Emily Ann LaClair, Elizabeth LaClair and Sydney Hayes; one grandson, Elijah Hayes; four sisters,

Debra and Ken Bemis of Virginia, Peggy and John Bascom, Marie and Mike Tenney, Tammie and Larry Neilsen, all of Charlestown, NH and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Allen Bashaw in 2001.                

Friends may call at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown on Wednesday evening August 19^th from 6 to 8 PM.     

Funeral Services will be held Thursday Morning, August 20^th at 10 O’clock at the Charlestown Congregational Church on Main Street, Charlestown with Rev. Susan Grant Rosen, Pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery on the Old Claremont Road, Charlestown, NH.
