Barbara Evelyn Domey Norris, 88, died February 9, 2009 at the Sullivan County Nursing Home in Unity, NH, after many months of failing health.  She was born in Springfield, VT, the daughter of Ethel (Pedden ) and Clifton C. Bellows on March 22, 1920.  She graduated from Springfield High School, VT in 1936.  She later married Lynwood Domey who passed in 1945.  She also married Milton C. Norris in July 1954.

She worked for a number of years at Kent's Drug Store before going to work at Bryant Grinder Corp where she worked for 25 years before retiring and then traveled the country before settling in Arizona until Milton passed in 2002, which was the place she found much happiness and enjoyment in the warm weather.  She later moved to Claremont, NH to be closer to her children.                                                                                                        

The family includes three children, Kathleen (Domey) Putnam  of Springfield, Vt,  Kenneth A. Domey  of Unity, NH, and Susan (Domey) Cosgrove of Johannesburg, CA;  two step-children, Carole (Norris) Whitelaw of Newcastle, CA. and Richard Norris  Springfield, OR; two grandchildren, Lori Ann Clark and her husband Robert of Naples, Me. and David R. Putnam and his wife Wendy of Westmoreland, NH;  step-grandchildren Donna Willett and husband Bill of Morgantown, NC, Duane Jarvis of Hartland, VT and Dale Porter of Weathersfield, VT; one great grandson Jason, several step-great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother, John P Bellows and his wife Florence of Bellingham, Wa; one sister-in-law Virginia Bellows of Springfield, VT and several nieces and nephews and their families. 

She is also survived by Kathleen’s husband, David A of Springfield, Ken's wife Beverly of Unity , Susan's husband Richard of Johannesburg and Richard's wife Fran of Springfield, Or.

She was predeceased by three brothers, James (in infancy), Robert and Clarence.

Her wishes are to be cremated and her cremains to be buried with each husband and in Arizona.  There will be no funeral services. The family request that donations of one’s choice be made in her memory.
