CARLETON D. PAGE

Husband, father, grandfather, most beloved man born September 29, 1926 went home to be with his Lord on November 3rd, 2009.  The youngest son of Ethel Nelson Page Barney and Ray O. Page, stepson of Warren Barney, brother to Morris R. Page and  Jerry S. Page.  He was married for 62 years to Priscilla O. Page. They had three children, Carlene (her life partner Jerry McKinney); Ray  and “his” Rose  and daughter Sandra (husband Ronald Anderson)  Sandra predeceased him.   He was “honorary Dad” to many.  He delighted in 7 grandsons and one granddaughter.   He had many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren .

He proudly served in the US Navy  in WWII.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and NASCAR fan.  He enjoyed service organizations. He was a Master Mason and  Noble  of  Bektash Shrine, member of VFW and the American Legion .  Carleton had many trades in life and ended his diversified career in trucking when his health failed.  He enjoyed his family, friends and neighborhood visits even more in his later years.  Carleton believed in life above all and fought to live for many years with significant health issues.  He appreciated his wife’s unflagging efforts to keep him home with great love.   His son, Ray was by his side faithfully and lovingly helping in every way as was Carlene when she was able to be near.

A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced.
