Connie Ann Boyland, 45, of Boyland Lane in Newport, died Wednesday afternoon, February 18, 2009 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born in Claremont, NH on September 11, 1963 the daughter of Alfred H. and Sylvia (Page) Howe and had resided in Newport for the past twenty-five years. Her family was extremely important to her. She loved animals, painting and crafts and was a very outdoor person. The surviving family includes her husband, James Stafford Boyland II of Newport, whom she married on May 17, 1986; three sons, Kyle R. Howe and his girl friend, Corina of Goshen, Aaron L. Howe and his wife, Fran of Claremont and James A. Boyland II of Newport; three grandchildren; her parents of Charlestown; one brother, Daryl H. Howe of Charlestown; two sisters, Shelley J. Rullo of Charlestown and Cheryl E. Bates of Kankakee, IL and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Karen L. Howe in 1961. Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Sunday afternoon, February 22nd from 2 to 4 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday morning, at Eleven O’clock at the Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Revord, Chaplin at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, officiating. A graveside committal service will be held in the Ascutneyville Cemetery in Ascutney, VT Saturday April 25th at 3pm.
