Dean Todd Barnes, 42, of Charlestown, died Monday evening, June 8, 2009 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a four month battle with cancer. He was born in Newport, NH on July 28, 1966 the son of Bobby and Nancy (Hayward) Barnes. He was the fourth of five children. He grew up in Croydon and attended the Little Red Schoolhouse and Newport High School. He was employed as a machine operator for LaCrosse Footwear in Claremont for 20 years. He was a mural artist, a fisherman, jokester and a master of barbeque. The surviving family includes his mother, a brother, Barry Duquie of Charlestown, sisters Christine and her husband, Brian Bell of Brookfield, NH and Nicole LaFrance and her husband Shawn Randall of Unity and beloved girlfriend, Christine Perkins of Charlestown as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his father and his brother, Ricky Partlow. All are welcome to a memorial service that will be held at the Croydon Fire Station at 1 PM this Sunday, June 14th followed by a barbeque in his honor. |
