Donald R. Seaver, 87, a former long tine resident of Claremont, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Sullivan County Health Care.

He was native of Claremont, NH born on September 27, 1921 the son of Leonard R. and Bertha E. (Douglas) Seaver.  He lived in Maryland from 1950  to 1965 and resided in Claremont most of his life.

He was employed at the Sullivan County Nursing Home in the laundry department for several years.

The surviving family includes one sister, Dorothy S. Gamsby of Newark, Delaware; four nieces and one nephew.

He was pre-deceased by his parents and one sister, Beverly McPherson.

Graveside committal services will be held Monday, May 4^th at One O’clock in Mt View Cemetery in Claremont with Rev. Donna Leslie, Pastor of the Croydon Flat Congregational Church, officiating.
