Eleanor Pauline Breed, 84, of Beechmont Street in Claremont, died Saturday morning, February 14, 2009 at Sullivan County Health Care.

She was a native and life long resident of Claremont, NH, born on September 8, 1924 the daughter of Elwin A. and Olga Pauline (Peterson) Breed.

She attended Claremont Schools and enjoyed watching TV, especially musical programs and enjoyed her nieces and nephews and their families.

Eleanor was a member of the First Congregational Church of Claremont and the Fjeldheim Lodge #159 Scandinavian Fraternity of America.

The surviving family includes a sister, Margaret B. Bauver; a brother, Richard E. Breed both of Claremont; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and a niece Kristin Bauver.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, February 20th at Eleven O’clock at the Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Winn Alley, Pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.
