Henrietta Sciborek, 82, of Langseth Avenue, died Sunday morning, June 21, 2009 at the Valley Regional Hospital.

She was born in Franklin, NH on November 1, 1926 the daughter of John and Agnes (Gut) Sciborek.  She moved to Lebanon in 1927 and to Claremont in 1929.

Henrietta was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1944.

She was employed by the New England Telephone Company for 36 years in Claremont and White River Junction, VT and for A.T. & T in White River Junction, VT for 5 years, retiring in December of 1989 with over 41 years of service which included 30 years as manager and group manager in Operator Services.

Henrietta enjoyed reading, flowers gardens at her residence, her friends, neighbors and her precious cat, Miss Cinnamon.  She loved all animals especially cats and dogs.   She was a communicant of St Joseph Church.

She is survived by a special cousin, Gerald Sciborek.

She was pre-deceased by a sister, Phyllis Burt who died March 27, 2007 and two half sisters, Emillia Barczak and Ceslawa Blad.

As per Henrietta’s request, there will be no visiting hours.

A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday morning, June 24, 2009 at Eleven O’clock in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating. Interment will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery.
