James Peter Cook, son of Lucille Mary Beliveau Cook of Unity NH and the late Donald Robert Cook Sr., left this world on August 13, 2009 for a better life after a long struggle with a birth injury. He was born in Claremont NH on February 1, 1965. Prior to his hospitalization, Jim resided at the Brookshire Group Home in Charlestown, NH.                      

In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his grandmother, Jeannine M. Beliveau of Claremont, his brother, Donald Robert Cook Jr. of Nashua; sister, Ann Marie Cook and three nephews, Memphis, Alexander and Dawson Cook Erwin all of Brooklyn NY and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of the Angels will be celebrated at the Old St. Mary’s Church on the Old Church Road in West Claremont at 11am on Monday, August 17^th with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor of St Mary’s Church, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery.

The Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont is in charge of arrangements.

The family’s appreciation goes out to the doctors, nurses and care givers at the special “I” Unit of the New Hampshire Hospital. We are sincerely grateful for the wonderful care and considerations that was provided for Jim for the last year and a half of his life. James touched the heart of many who knew him.
