Kenneth Roger Benjamin, 69, of 425 NH Rte. 12A, Langdon, NH died October 14, 2009 surrounded by his family at Mt. Ascutney Hospital Hospice Room. He was born in Bellows Falls, VT on Dec. 23, 1939 the son of John Austin and Phyllis (Kemp) Benjamin. Kenneth graduated from the Charlestown High School the class of 1959. He worked at Tambrands, Inc. for five years as a material handler and previously for Melanson Roofing Co., of Keene, and Jones and Lamson in Springfield, VT. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, cutting wood and riding his ATV. The surviving family includes his wife, Rose O. (Howe) Benjamin of Langdon whom he married on June 23, 1962; three daughters, Kimberly A. Barnes and her husband, Willy of N. Charlestown, Kelly O. Scott and her husband, Robert of Charlestown and Katherine M. Snide and her husband, Shawn of Chester, VT; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, William Benjamin of Charlestown and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by one brother, John L. Benjamin. There are no visiting hours. A graveside committal service will be held Saturday, October 17th at 1PM in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown with Rev. Mark Flemming, officiating. The Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street, Charlestown, NH is in charge of arrangements.
