Forget Me Not She’s really never gone you know, Remembrance keeps her near….The bygone days of long ago; a smile, a touch, a tear. In all the different seasons, Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall….She’ll linger there within your hearts, whenever you recall….A butterfly, a favorite thing.. Like sunset on the farm, the scent of pine, a shooting star. Perhaps a soothing psalm. In wintertime, the snow so pure it takes one’s breath away, and glistens in the moonlight while riding “in a one horse sleigh.” And holidays at “The Walker Farm” with all the family….A familiar phrase or something said, will jolt your memory. And so it’s said, day after day, a thing, a place, a spot…..will keep reminding you of her, which says “Forget me not.” By Laurie Gallagher |
