Mary G. Woodcock, 85, of 243 Broad Street in Claremont, died at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday afternoon, April 30, 2009. She was born in East Dorset, VT on April 1, 1924 the daughter of Harvey and Jeanie (Hunter) Garrapy. She had resided in Claremont for the past 6 years and had previously lived in Ascutney, VT for 12 years and in Chester, VT most of her life. Mrs. Woodcock attended the Charlestown Bible Church. The surviving family includes her husband, Howard Woodcock of Claremont whom she married on February 25, 1944; two daughters, Laura Gislason of Claremont and Marsha Daniels of Derby Line, VT; three granddaughters, one grandson, four great-grandsons, four great-grand-daughters; three sisters, Marguerite Nadeau of Rockingham, VT, Alice Manley of Proctor, VT and Betty Hall of Hillsville, VA also nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three brothers, Earle Partridge, Commodore Garrapy and Harvey Garrapy and one sister, Jeanie Hunsdon. |
