Phyllis L. Moulton, 71, of North Main Street in Newport, died at her home, Tuesday morning, November 4, 2009.

She was born in Bradford, NH on March 28, 1938 the daughter of Louis Peter and Delia Leona (Henault) Chartier.  She attended school in Charlestown and had resided in the Newport and Claremont area nearly all her life.  Phyllis drove cabs for local cab company in Claremont.

She was the widow of Elman Bruce Moulton who died Aug. 20, 2002.

The surviving family includes two sons, Joseph Moulton, Sr. of Newport and Randy Moulton of Charlestown; three daughters, Jeanne Kimberley and Lisa Kimberley both of Newport and Lorrie Fuller of Claremont; 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by a son, Michael Chartier on May 26, 1998; a brother Douglas Chartier and one grandson Brandon C. Ripley on May 29, 2004.

A graveside committal service will be held at St Mary’s Cemetery in Claremont on Saturday morning, November 7, 2009 at Eleven O’clock with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor of St Mary’s Church in Claremont, officiating.
