Richard A. Bissonnette, 60, of Fern Street in Claremont, died Wednesday, afternoon, July 29th 2009 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH after a long illness. He was a Claremont native and life long resident born on March 5, 1949, the son of Laurier “Biz” and Mae (Putnam) Bissonnette. Richard worked for many years as a crew chief at Golden Cross Ambulance, then with Newmont Vending. For the last 13 years, Richard worked for Wal-Mart as a night crew supervisor. Richard enjoyed NASCAR racing, going fishing, camping and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his three grandsons. The family includes two sons, Travis Bissonnette and his wife Michelle of Rochester, NH and Lance Bissonnette and his wife Kelly of Bellingham, MA; three grandsons, Dustin, Colin and Brayden. One sister, Janice Heighes of Claremont and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Cheryl. Friends and family may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH on Friday July 31st, from 6 to 8pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 1st at 2pm at the Funeral Home with Father Stanley Piwowar officiating. |
