Richard T. Haubrich, 94, formally of Claremont died July 31, 2009 in North Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on January 20, 1915, the son of Frederick W. and Marion N. (Rice) Haubrich and was a long time resident of Claremont moving to Navada in 2007 to live with his son. Richard graduated from Stevens High School in 1932 and received his BS degree in chemical engineering from The University of New Hampshire in 1936. He was the Vice President for Ajax Electric Company in Philadelphia, PA. The company made salt bath furnaces to heat treat metal. Richard married Mary A. Curran in 1940 and she died in 1993. The family included two sons, Robert James Haubrich of Claremont and Richard T. Haubrich, Jr. and his wife Sharon of North Las Vegas, Nevada;three grandsons, two granddaughters, one great grandson and one great granddaughter; one brother, Frederick W. Haubrich. Funeral services will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, Saturday morning, September 5th at 9 O’clock with Reverend Susan Langle of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Officiating. Burial will be held privately at a later date. |
