Robert Norris Harrington, Jr., 59, of Pleasant Street in Claremont, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at his home. He was born in Astabuia, Ashtabula, Ohio on March 29, 1949 the son of Robert Norris and Mary Ann (McBride) Harrington. He had resided in Claremont for the past 5 years, lived in Denver, CO for 58 years and as a young man he traveled many European countries with his family. Robert’s love was in communications through ham and short wave radios building strong relations with many friends through out the United States and many foreign countries. The surviving family includes his wife, Patricia Ann (Manley) Flack-Harrington of Claremont, whom he married Sept. 30, 2000; a step-son, Jason Flack of Claremont; two grandsons, Jacob and James Flack all of Claremont; a sister, Linda “Dede” Kraxburger of Fort Collins, CO; two nephews and four cousins. He was pre-deceased by his father and mother; his grandparents that came here from Ireland and settled in Kansas then to Denver. Roberts wishes where that there be no visiting or services. The family suggest that donations may be made in his memory to the Bridge Program In Care Of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756-0001. |
