Robert Sterling Deline, Sr, 86, formally of 21 Bellevue Avenue, in Claremont, NH, died Sunday night, May 10, 2009 at the Woodlawn Care Center in Newport.  He was born in Groveton, NH on April 2, 1923 the son of George and Sadie (Lawrence) Deline.  He lived in Needham, MA for forty-three years, in Groveton, NH for three years and had resided in Claremont since 1999.

Robert worked as a caretaker for Paul Cabot, Sr. & Jr. in Needham, MA for twenty-six years and retired in 1996.

Robert Married Pearl A. Deline on August 5, 1950 and she died on April 6, 2005

The surviving family includes three sons, Reginald  L. Deline of Claremont, Robert S. Deline, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA and Raymond N. Deline of Culpeper, VA;  four grandchildren, Ryan, Blake, Damien and Mariah; one brother Herbert Deline of Claremont and one sister Natalie Sears of FL. Also many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Rachel P. Deline in 2002.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 10^th at 1PM on the Northumberland Cemetery, Groveton, NH.
