Rowella Gloria Geoffroy, 78, of 7 Heritage Drive, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at her home.

She was born in Shelburne, VT on June 29, 1930 the daughter of Ladislas and Bella (Gosselin) Geoffroy.  She had resided in Claremont for the past 15 years and had previously lived in New Milford, CT for 3 years and in Nashua for many years.

Rowella worked on assembly for 10 years at the Teradyne Company in Nashua.

She was a communicant of St Joseph Church and a member of the St. Anne Society.

Her surviving family includes one brother Lee LeMelin of Brookfield, CT; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a very specials friend Betty Ramos of Claremont.

She was predeceased by one brother Jack LeMelin of New Milford, CT

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning, May 19^th at Eleven O’clock in St Joseph Church with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating.   Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:30 prior to Mass.
