Timothy Rollin Honney, 72, of 7 Heritage Drive in Claremont, died Thursday evening, April 9, 2009 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was native and nearly life long resident of Claremont, born on March 6, 1937 the son of William A. and Madeline (Donovan) Honney. He attended the Concord, NH Technical Institute. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the US Marine Corp. active duty for 4 years and in the reserve for 4 years. Timothy worked as an electrician at Jones & Lamson, Bryant Grinder, Joy Mfg., Yankee Power and the Portsmouth Ship Yard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and held membership in the NRA and several fish & game associations. The surviving family includes, two brothers, William D. Honney and Ronald B. Honney both of Claremont; two sisters, Patricia A. MacDonald of Claremont and Eileen Lusco of Missouri; his step-mother, Gladys (Marsh) Honey of the Sullivan County Health Care, formerly of Charlestown and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by a half sister, Gertrude Terrijwski. Graveside committal services will be held Friday, June 19, 2009 at Two o’clock in the afternoon in St Mary’s Cemetery with military honors provided by the US Marine Corp. Honor Guard. |
