Tony Silva, 47, of Kennesaw, GA passed away suddenly Wednesday, July 8, 2009.  He was born on March 8, 1962, the son of Ralph and the late Sylvia B. Silva and was raised in Claremont, NH.  Tony had lived in Cobb County for the past 20 years.  He was employed as a human resource consultant with Mercer HR Consultant Services and a member of the Marietta Country Club.  He graduated from Fall Mountain Regional High School and then went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eckerd College in Florida and his MBA from Duke University.   Most importantly he was a devoted father, son & brother. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two boys, Alan (18) and Scott (17) as well as watching baseball, playing golf, and fishing.  Having an excellent sense of humor, Tony lived a wonderful life and he will be missed by all who knew him.  

The surviving family includes two sons,  Alan and Scott Silva of Kennesaw, GA; his father,  Ralph Silva and his wife June of Claremont, NH; two brothers, Paul  Silva and his son, David Silva of Claremont, NH and Kenne Silva of Claremont, NH; one sister, Cindy Silva and her daughter, Ashley Gould of Claremont, NH, Jeffrey & Michelle Jackson and their children, Alex and Jeff Jr. of Toms River, NJ, Jeffrey & Kristi Brown and their children, Scott and Jackie of Steamboat Springs, Colorado and Keith Thibodeau of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.                                                                                    

Friends and Family are asked to visit at The Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH Saturday, July 18th from 12 to 2pm.       Immediately following, the family encourages all those who wish to celebrate Tony’s life to join them at the home of Ralph & June Silva, 393 Sullivan Street, Claremont.  Burial will be held privately in the family lot in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown, NH.
