Beatrice Alice Stiles, 94, previously of Heritage Drive, Claremont, NH, died Monday morning, April 26, 2010 at the Sullivan County Health Care in Unity.  She was born in Claremont, NH on December 3, 1915, the daughter of Simeon and Etta (Howe) Fontaine.

She owned antique shops in Pittsburg, NH for many years. Beatrice was famous for her green thumb. She loved her plants and gardening.

She was the widow of Paul Demers whom she married in 1935, in 1963 she married Irving Wallace Stiles and he died in 1997.

The family includes one daughter, Patricia Walker; one son, Eugene Demers; two brothers, Francis Fontaine and Donald Fontaine; one sister, Blanche St. John; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Henry, Ernest and George; two sisters, Lillian and Ethel.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH, Thursday, afternoon and evening, April 29^th from 2 to 4 and  6 to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Church in Claremont, NH, April 30^th, at 11 AM, with Rev. Father George Majka, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
