Blanche M. Chabot, 94, formerly of Weston Heights, Windsor, VT died Wednesday morning April 21, 2010 at the Mt. Ascutney Skilled Nursing Facility in Windsor, VT.

She was born in Claremont, NH on December 10, 1915, the daughter of Victor and Anna (Stankevich) Rechisky and graduated from Stevens High School in the class of 1934.

Mrs. Chabot was communicant of St. Joseph Church in Claremont, NH and St. Francis Church in Windsor, VT. She was a member of the St. Francis Court 1111, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and a member of the Windsor Garden Club.

Blanche was married to Louis E. Chabot on June 18, 1938 and he predeceased her on May 7, 1974.

The family includes one daughter, Janice A. Chabot of Danvers, MA; one son, Donald J. Chabot and his wife Peg of Claremont, NH; one grandson DJ Chabot and his wife Sara of Marshfield, MA; one granddaughter, Michele Chabot Mitchler and her husband Ryan of Boston, MA; two great grandchildren, Morgan Chabot and Cameron Chabot of Marshfield, MA.  Also several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Chester Rechisky and Milton Rechisky, and her sister Mary Prue.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH, Monday, evening, April 26^th  from 6 to 8PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Church in Claremont, NH, April 27^th, at 10 AM, with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery in Windsor, VT.
