Calel Mayland Wheeler, 17 months, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in New Jersey.  He was born in Concord, NH on September 17, 2008, the son of Timothy Wheeler and Carmen Cotting.

Calel loved apples and books. He took after his daddy because he had a silky blanket he took everywhere.  He would take his little fingers and rub them in the silk.  Calel really enjoyed playing with his older brother Atreyu. They were buddies.

He was survived by his parents; three brothers, Cadence, Atreyu and Adidas; one sister, Alexis; grandparents, Sandy and Rick Southard of Charlestown, Steven and Marieloisia Cotting and Cary Wheeler of Keene; great grandparents, Patricia Anderson, Doris Wheeler of MA, Evelyn Palmer and Bill Gunsinger; aunts and uncles, Crystal and John Simonds of Claremont, Lester and Wendy Clark of Maine, Christian and Steven of OR; cousins, Paige, Axel and Walker.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Christopher Dole; uncle, Cary Wheeler and his great grandpa, Ernest Ouellette.

Visiting hours will be held Monday evening, March 8, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St. Claremont, NH

Funeral Services will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Eleven O’clock in the morning with Rev. Priscilla Hull officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
