Eugene Michael Naylor The world has lost a strong, gentle man this day. Eugene Michael Naylor of Claremont, New Hampshire succumbed to complications from a massive stroke on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 2:40 am. Gene, or Mikey as his family called him, worked as an LNA at Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon, NH where he was well liked and respected by patients and co-workers alike. He was enrolled in the Nursing Program at River Valley Technical College Studying for his RN. He was also a private contractor in home-hospice care tending to the needs of terminally ill patients and their loved ones. He referred to himself as a “Death Coach” but his clients referred to him as a “Careworker Extraordinaire.”
Gene was born in
Barre, Vermont on December 6, 1959. His father, being in the Air Force,
the family moved around the world. He grew up in Plattsburgh, NY, and
the Philippines, and spent his adolescence and young adulthood in
Sumter, SC. Gene moved back to New Hampshire where his grandparents
lived and his parents were born. He grew to love the area during his
many visits to his family in the area. As per his wishes there will be no funeral services. |
