Janet Mary Pitraszkiewicz, 93, formerly of East Street in Claremont died on Monday afternoon, November 28, 2011 at the Elm Wood Center in Claremont, NH.

She was born In Newport, NH on September 8, 1918 the daughter of Walter J. and Josephine R. (Rogowska) Pitraszkiewicz. She was raised in Newport and graduated from Towle High School in the Class of 1937.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

She was pre-deceased by one brother, Pvt. 1^st Class Zigmund K. Pitraszkiewicz and one sister, Filomenia Sieczkoski.

Graveside committal service will be held at St Patrick’s Cemetery in Newport on Wednesday afternoon, November 30^th at 1:00PM with Father Stanley Piwowar, officiating.
