John J. Motowidlak, 93, of High Street, in Claremont NH, died Wednesday evening, November 3, 2010 at the V A Hospital in White River Junction, VT. He was born in Glastonbury, CT on June 24, 1917 the son of John and Anna (Ocogma) Motowidlak. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy. John owned and operated Moto's ESSO and Moto's Fuel Company before retiring from Pratt & Whitney. He was an avid gardener and New York Yankees fan. He was predeceased by his wife Mary, granddaughter Lisa, brothers, Andrew and Bill and sister, Helen. He leaves his long-time loving companion Genevive Johnson, daughter Lynda Dion, sons John, Michael and Steven as well as Genevive's children Brian, George and Debbie; brother, Raymond; sister, Mary Connolly, sister-in-law, Ruth Connolly, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his loving dog, Buddy. John will be dearly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at Ten O’clock in St Philip Church, 150 S. Main St., in East Windsor, CT with Rev. Father Robert Rousseau, Officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the Veterans Section of Hillside Cemetery in East Hartford, CT at Eleven O’clock. |
