Juane Alice VanDerveer, 60, of Twistback Road in Claremont died Thursday, afternoon, April 22, 2010 at Dartmouth Medical Center in Lebanon due to brain trauma sustained on April 17th, 2010. She was born in Laconia, NH on August 17, 1949, the daughter of Joan and Edwin Tucker. Juane was employed by Lacrosse Footwear, Waterman’s Home for the Elderly and Cedar Hill. She had many friends and she will be missed dearly. Please come and show your respects. Juane shared thirty seven years of marriage with William W. “Kodiak” Sr. and he died on November 14, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents and a younger brother, Michael Tucker. The family includes a daughter, Kelly Fields and her husband, David, a son, William VanDerveer, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Noelle Westcott, a daughter, Stacy VanDerveer and a son, Lijah VanDerveer and his wife, Christy; three brothers, Edwin Tucker, Paul Tucker and Joel Tucker; grandchildren, Bret Forni, Jesse Forni, Samantha Picard, Christopher VanDerveer, Morgan Fields, Alec VanDerveer, Spencer Chase, Shane Fields, Elijah Forni, Brandon VanDerveer, Dylan Obrian, Austin Fields, Tyrese VanDerveer, Taneesha Day and Faith VanDerveer; one great-grandchild Jordan Thibodeau; many nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, at Two O’clock on May 2nd at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH with Rev. Walter McDaniel, Pastor of the Bow Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated. |
