Lorette Arcelia Lambert, 90, a former long time resident of West Terrace Street, Claremont, NH,  died Wednesday morning, April 28, 2010 at the Cedar Hill Health Care Center in Windsor, VT.

She was born in Claremont, NH on January 4, 1920, the daughter of Adelard H. and Alice (Fontaine) Favreau and had resided in Claremont most of her life.

She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in the Class of 1937 and attended Concord Business School.  She worked in the office of the Old Sullivan Machine Co. and in the late 60’s worked as a secretary at NH Technical College.

Lorette was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and a former member of the Women’s Garden Club.

She was the widow of Emile W. Lambert whom she married on November 28, 1940 and he died December 11, 1990.

Members of her surviving family include four daughters, Annette L. Huntington of Woodbury, CT, Janice L. West of Southbury, CT, Darlene G Meredith of Bow, NH and Christine L. Martinson of Claremont, NH; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helena Baron of Charlestown and Beverly Joyal of Nashua, NH; several nephews, nieces and cousins. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church on Saturday, May 1st at One-Thirty in the afternoon with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30 PM prior to Mass.
