Marilyn Gertrude Michalenoick, 83 of 65 State St, Windsor, VT passed away unexpectedly at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on January 9, 2010.

She was born on December 6, 1926 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Floyd and Flora (Zuk) Joel.  She received her schooling in Ohio and Windsor graduating with the Class of 1946.  She attended Burdett Business College in Boston, MA.  She worked at the Lahey Clinic, Goodyear, Windsor Medical Group and the Hitchcock Clinic where she enjoyed all her friends.  She also served as a legal secretary at the Windsor Probate Court and enjoyed her time at the Vermont State Craft Center.

Marilyn enjoyed time spent with friends, reading, writing letters, trips to Maine and having her hair and nails done.  She also enjoyed her Pomeranian-Selby.

She is survived by her daughter Joy M. Michalenoick of  Hartland, VT and relatives in Claremont, Florida and Ohio.  Her husband John A. Michalenoick predeceased her in 1990.

At her request, there will be no visiting hours.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, Jan 14^th at Eleven O’clock in Mt View Cemetery, Claremont, NH with Rev. Father George Mijka, Pastor of St Joseph Church, officiating.
