Pauline Rita Goodhue, 88, of 50 Sullivan Street in Claremont, died Friday morning,  April 23, 2010 at the Elm  Wood Center in Claremont, NH.

She was born in Dracut, MA on September 12, 1921 the daughter of Joseph Ed and Marie (Moreau) Landry and had resided in Claremont since 1939.

Mrs. Goodhue worked as a clerk at Stevens Drug Store and Bucko’s Pharmacy and retired in 1966 from Sylvania in Hillsboro where she was a tester for eight years.

The surviving family includes her husband, Roland Fredrick Goodhue of Claremont whom she married on September 28, 1942; one daughter, Caroline P. Levasseur of Goffstown; two sons, Robert C. Goodhue of Hooksett and Joseph F. Goodhue of Walpole; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.

She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Raymond Landry who died in 1930 and Leo Landry in 1965 and one sister, Fernand Landry in 1960.

There are no visiting hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Church on Wednesday April 28th at Ten O’clock with Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery.
