Ralph Fred Morse, Jr., 77, formerly of Fiske Place, in Claremont, NH died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in Unity surrounded by his family at the home of his granddaughter Andrea and Arnulfo Urista. He was a native and life long resident of Claremont, NH born on November 14, 1932 the son of Ralph and Rachel (Johnson) Morse. He worked as a factory worker at Dartmouth Woolen Mill for fifteen years, and also taught skiing at Mt Tom in Woodstock, VT. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. The surviving family includes his wife, Winona Jane Morse of Claremont whom he married on Feb. 25, 1967; two daughters, Dianne Thurber of Claremont and Linda Moore of Lempster; three sons, Kenneth Morse and Michael Morse both of Windsor, VT, Frederick Morse of Springfield, VT; two step sons, Lewis Ouellette of Claremont and Lawrence Ouellette of Newport; two step daughters, Donna Papps of Claremont and Lori Ricker of Newport; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Morse of Sunapee; one sister, Nancy Fletcher of North Troy, VT and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two grandchildren Cedric and Nathaniel Thurber and two great grandchildren Ruth and Colby Morse. Funeral services will be held Friday morning February 19th at 11:00 am in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont with Rev. David Hackmann, interim Pastor of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be held privately in the spring. Friends and family may call Thursday evening February 18th from 6 to 8pm. |
