Robert Ansel Morway, Sr., 76, of Oxbrook Road, Charlestown, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Valley Regional Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born in West Suffield, CT on October 11, 1934, the youngest of five sons to Oliver J. and Ruby Ann (Coan) Morway. His brothers Raymond, Harold, Douglas and Norbert.

He had worked in the area foundries until he retired from Joy Manufacturing Company.

Robert married his wife Patricia (Blaine) Morway on September 25, 1954 and she passed in 1992. 

The surviving family includes; one son, Robert Morway, Jr., and his wife Elizabeth of Charlestown; two daughters, Debra A. Havlir and her husband Charles of Charlestown, Donna Curtis and her companion Jeff Wright of Claremont, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be no visiting hours.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Two O’clock in the afternoon in Hope Hill Cemetery in North Charlestown with David Grasso, Pastor of the Life Fellowship Foursquare Church officiating.
