Bruce Brian Cutts, 67, of Grandview Street in Claremont, died Friday evening, October 14, 2011 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on June 26, 1944 in Lebanon, NH the son of Bruce and Ester (Cole) Allard and resided in Claremont most of his life.

Bruce attended schools in Norwich, VT.

He worked at Peterson Plastic, Sportwell Shoe Shop, Eagle Times and for Goodyear Rubber in Windsor for twenty-one years. He worked most recently for Market Basket in Claremont.

Bruce loved riding his moped, working on automobiles, square dancing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He married Barbara K. Surrell on August 22, 1964.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Sandra Temple and his loyal dog Skippy.

The family includes his wife; two sons, Brian B. Cutts and his companion Linda Simpson of Claremont and Bradley S. Cutts and his wife Lori of Claremont; one daughter, Barbara A. Cutts and her companion Roger Sawyer of Claremont; three brothers, Hervey Cutts, James Allard and Tony Allard; three sisters, Martha Joper, Maxine Truel and Christine Patterson; his grandchildren, Cynthia Vanguilder, Kathryn Burnash, Lawrence Burnash III, Bryanna Cutts, Gabrielle Cutts, Megan Cutts and Danielle Cutts; his great-grandchildren, Madasia, Vanguilder, Mercedes Vanguilder and Dominik Vanguilder; and a very special nephew, Shilo Allard.

A special thank you to the Hospices nurses and doctors for the compassion they have shown Bruce during this time in his life.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 20th at the St. Mary Cemetery on Plains Road in Claremont at 11am with Pastor Scott Kearns officiating.

A reception will follow at the Claremont American Legion on Broad Street.
