Caroline L. Edvinson, of Winter Street in Claremont died February 9, 2011 at her home.  She was born in Cornish, NH, the daughter of George and Stella (Cole) Young.  She graduated from Stevens High School in the class of 1937.

Caroline was an executive manager at Sears Roebuck Company for twenty five years and traveled frequently for the company.

She was a member of the Claremont Congregational Church, the Rebecca Lodge, the Eastern Star, the Camp Fire Girls and the Garden Club. 

She enjoyed antiques, reading and going out to fine restaurants.

Caroline was preceded in death by her husband Earle Edvinson in 1976, four brothers and two sisters.

The family includes her dearest friend and travel companion for the past thirty five years Ann Glynn of Claremont; three nieces, Judith Putnam and Caroline Merchant both of Claremont and Donna Jean Young of Goshen; also several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday morning, February 16^th,  at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont with Pastor Donna Gage of the First Congregation Church officiating.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 11am prior to the funeral service.

Burial will be held privately in Mtn. View Cemetery.
