Carolyn A. Blankenship, 82, of Heritage Drive, Claremont died Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born on August 28, 1928 in Somerville, MA the daughter of Frank I. and Gladys D. (Roper) Berquist. Carolyn had worked for 18 years for Reflexology in California and for Morway’s Mobile Home Park for eight years. She enjoyed doing art work, ceramics, crafts, needlework, baking and gardening, she was also a long time bible student, church soloist and worker. The family includes her husband George H. Blankenship who she married on April 21, 1956; three sons, David F. Blankenship of Mentone, CA, Brian L. Blankenship of Charlestown, Charles A. Blankenship of Lebanon; one daughter, Katherine E. Blankenship of Claremont, two grandchildren, thirty-one nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and grand nephews. She was pre-deceased by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral arrangements will be held privately. |
