Charles Augustus Boardman, 74, of Henry Street in Claremont, NH, died Wednesday morning, April 27, 2011, at the Sullivan County Health Care in Unity, NH.

He was born in Hinsdale, NH on January 3, 1937 the son of George A. and Verna E. (Packard) Boardman.  He had resided in Claremont since he was 6 months old.

He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

Charles had worked for Claremont Flock for 23 years and then American Brush for 13 years.

Charles enjoyed fishing and bowling.

The family includes his wife, Gladys H. (Penn) Boardman whom he married on May 2, 1968; one son, George Boardman of Lebanon, NH; two daughters, Verna Morin of Claremont, NH, Roberta Garrow of Claremont, NH; three brothers, Peter Boardman of Cornish, Jon Boardman of Perkinsville, VT, James Boardman of The Villages, FL; three sisters, Georgia “Jane” Paquette of Florida, Patricia Brown of Milton, VT and Linda Callum of Unity, NH; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins

He was predeceased by three brothers, George I. Boardman, Alden G. Boardman and David R. Boardman.

At Charles’s request there will be no funeral services.
